Walgreens this week...

A few good deals at Walgreens this week are:

- Chapstick 100% naturals or True Shimmer Lip Balm or Butter
On sale for $1.99 w/ a $1.99 Register Rewards* = Free
-Halls Cough Drops 25-30 pack
In the Walgreens ad there is a coupon for Hall's $1.39. Since this is not a Manufacturers coupon, you can use a manufacturers coupon with it. In Sunday's paper there is coupon in the SmartSource (SS) insert for $1.00 off of Hall's cough drops. If you use both coupons you can get them for .39 cents. There is a limit of 3.
- Soft Soap Body Wash
Buy a SoftSoap Body Wash and get a coupon for a Free SoftSoap body wash to use on your next visit.
Use the .75/1 coupon from this Sunday's paper to buy the first one for $3.24. So you will get two body washes for $3.24 or $1.62 each.
Not the most amazing deal but Kyle Love's this stuff so I will probably buy a few.

*(a register rewards is Walgreen's version of a Catalina. However, unlike most Catalinas if you use the register reward you got by buying chapstick to pay for more chapstick it will not print out another register reward. But if you use your chapstick register rewards to pay for body wash it will still print off the free body wash coupon.) Get it?

OK, so here is an easy one.

If you live near an Albertsons.... Go to this link:

http://www.postcereals.com/trailmixcrunch

Print off the $2 off of 1 box of trail mix crunch cereal. It should let you print it 3 times on each computer. You are going to want 6 of them. So you will need to find another computer.

Go to Albertsons and load your cart with 6 boxes of Post Trail Mix Crunch cereal. When you check out it should break down like this....

6 boxes of cereal= 9.42 - 6 $2/1 (two dollars off of 1) coupons= -2.58
They will not pay you money, but they will give it to you for free.... but you will still have to pay tax. I think it ends up being .65 cents or so.
+ a $5 off your next Shopping order Catalina (a Catalina is a coupon that prints at the check stand that can be used on ANY groceries unless it specifies otherwise).

Sweet eh? The link to more information is here . Thanks Pinching Your Pennies!

Have Fun!

OK... lets get started.

First, lets learn the basics. I am not going to go into all of the details on how to get started and where to find coupons because there are lots of sites who have already done that. A few of my favorites are:

Pinchingyourpennies.com
Pinching your pennies is a good resource if you live in Utah, Idaho or Arizona.

HotCouponWorld.com
Hot Coupon World is a great site. Perfect for every location.

You will want to join these sites and start reading about what people are talking about. Read their tips and hints pages for beginners. DO NOT post anything in any forums until you learn the basics. After that, go to town.

Welcome to my new Blog!

I decided that it was time I stopped using my family's blog for coupon and photography posts. Hopefully I can use this site to brag about all of my awesome coupon finds and encourage other's to take advantage of the savings.

Enjoy!
